Brendon was the son of Francis and Mary Berrigan. Following the death of his father, his mother remarried to a Schroeder. There is a "Marilyn" Schroeder that died at the same time as his mother and buried in Mount Calvary, but I cannot confirm that would be her. Brendon began his Vietnam tour on Dec 13, 1967 and was attached to the Army's 101st Airborne Division, 2nd Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, Company A. He was killed when accidentally hit by friendly fire that was directed at the enemy. He had been admitted to the hospital where he later expired. |
