NOTES FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS A 2004 note in our Guestbook from Robert DeCubellis: Sgt Joseph T. Pigeon Jr, Warwick R.I. was KIA 21 Aug 68. Joe and I went to HS together and a couple of years of college in Wisconsin before he dropped out and joined the Army. At the time we buried him, there was no talk of how he was killed... it was an open casket and my carrot-topped buddy looked about as I remembered him the last time we saw each other... he was a great guy. |
