NOTES FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY |
Our very own Holly Dickerson wrote: It is with heavy heart that I send this message about an old friend Coy John Hubbard Jr who passed away 2-3-2020. Coy was in Sgt Zaragoza’s squad along with me, Joe, Sam, Shack, Gary, Celester, and Poncho on Feb 20, 1970 when Victor (Z) was killed along with our Platoon Leader LT Hockett and several wounded from our squad. Coy was a great guy loved by all. He wore thick black glasses and we called him Professor. After his military days were over he was a successful construction superintendent and master carpenter. He told me being a Paw Paw was the best gig he ever had as he was a big family man. He will be missed and remembered by many. |
