| Ed Mitchell wrote the following on our Facebook Group page: Third Platoon’s Dave Schmidli (along with his three “brothers”, Eveleth, Takos, and Johnson pictured in the photo) precisely define the word “WARRIOR”. I was, and still am, honored and privileged to have walked with each of these men while I led A company from 20 Feb (the day SGT Vic Zaragoza and LT Dave Hockett were killed) until 15 Jun ‘70. |
