OBITUARY Elton "Bud" Carby Craddock, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Duncan, at age of 70. Elton was born Monday, November 14, 1949 in Lindsay, Oklahoma, to Elton Carby Craddock Sr.and Nelda June (Terry) Craddock. Growing up in the Chitwood Community, he lived in the Grady and Stephens County areas most of his life and had graduated from the Alex High School. Elton married Charlotte Childress in the Highland Hills Baptist Church in Wichita Falls on May 8, 1971; they were married for 39 years before Charlotte's passing on April 17, 2011. Elton later married Ronda Clowser in Wichita Falls, TX on August 23, 2011; they were married for 8 years before Elton's passing. Elton owned and operated Craddock Service Company in the oil and gas industry. He enjoyed farming and taking care of his cows. Elton liked watching old westerns and playing on his Ipad. He loved to travel and always appreciate a good steak. Elton loved the 4th of July and especially loved just spending time with his family. Survivors include, his wife, Ronda Craddock of the home, a son, Jamie Craddock of Denton, TX, 2 daughters, Tera Brown and husband Todd of Duncan, Fealishea Barker and husband Robert of Duncan, 2 granddaughters, Gabrielle Renee Brown, and Evylette Craddock. He is also survived by a sister, Denise Craddock of Las Vegas, NV, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of great friends. |
