Enrique was from Columbus, GA. He was on our "Lost Avenger" list meaning we had lost touch with him. He was also on our "Lost Avengers" list because we lost contact with him. We would love to get in touch with him again! Sadly he is no longer with us. Enrique passed 1 Jun 2017. He served two tours in Vietnam. |

OBITUARY Enrique Antonio Degracia was born November 27, 1947 in Panama City, Panama. In 1969, he came to Brooklyn, NY where he joined the U. S. Army and made a career out of his love of service to his country. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Maria Degracia and his father, Enrique Antonio Degracia, along with six siblings: Ernesto Antonio, Eloy Abdiel, Elias Alberto, Esteban Antonio, Edith Maria and Eduardo Antonio. He is predeceased by his mother, Bertha Raquel Buitrago. A proud parent, his children consist of: Enrique Antonio (Henry) and Raymond Antonio Degracia, Javier, Alejandro, Norma, and Linda Quiroz; A loving grandfather, he kept in touch with all the grandchildren, their interests and achievements, but being an athlete, he enjoyed most of all, attending their sports activities. His grandchildren consist of Enrique Antonio III (Trey), Trenton David and Taylor Joseph Degracia; Brenda, Timothy, Andrew, Rachel Quiroz, Monique Rodriguez, Anthony Pereira, and Benjamin Valdez. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, First Sergeant Degracia served two tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the U. S. Army with an Honorable Discharge, Enrique served 20-plus years in the Ft. Benning/Columbus Sheriff’s Department. If you ever noticed Enrique’s attire or visit his home, you would realize what an avid New York Yankees fan he was. |
