GURAVAGE George, age 57, entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2008 at Ocean Medical Center. George was predeceased by his parents George and Mildred Guravage. George is survived by his loving wife Gina Gallo, dear son Brian Guravage, sisters Patty Soles and Debbie Morrissey, stepsons Richard Fonyi and Michael Gallo, four grandchildren, Shane, Justin, Sarah and Jacob and cherished friends Barbara and Tibby Kiraly. George was born on November 7, 1950 in Newark, NJ and graduated from East Side High School. He served his country in Vietnam earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for wounds received in combat. He lived in Clifton for many years and moved to Brick in 2002. George was previously employed at TRW in Mountainside, NJ and was self-employed as a painting contractor. He volunteered on the Irvington Ambulance Squad, coached little league baseball in Clifton, enjoyed trips to AC, bowling and playing poker.
