| James Jacob Schmidt served with us in 1969 as a medic during FSB Airborne.. 30 Apr 1945 - 1 Sep 2018. He succumbed to his battle with Parkinson's and an infection from a recent bout of pneumonia. He was living in Centerline, MI. |

| OBITUARY |
| James Jacob Schmidt, age 73, of Center Line. Died
Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St John-Macomb Hospital in Warren. James
was born April 30, 1945 in Detroit to the late Jacob & Alice (Carter)
Schmidt. He married Audrey Dodgeson in Center Line, she died in May of
2009. James will be sadly missed by his daughter; Nancy Warner,
grandchildren; Jennifer (Anthony) Urban, Mark Williams,
great-granddaughter; Taylor Stadler and his dear friend Carol Curtis. James was very proud of his time served in the United States Army, he was a member of the 101st Airborne Division, he received both A Silver Star and Purple Heart. A Funeral Service will be held 10AM Thursday, September 6 at Kaul Funeral Home-Roseville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8PM at the Funeral Home.
