On 9-22-2021 a note on our Facebook group from Jim Ivy:

Barth, do you or any of the guys remember James Tate? He was from North Carolina I believe. He was a machine gunner and was with us when Wentworth was KIA.

Paul Gochnour replied to Jim:

Jim Ivy Yes, he was out when I arrived, Nov ‘70 - I believe he had badly cut his hand with a machete. He did return … I have a picture and it might be on the website.

Wayne Anderson added:

I remember him as John Tate, we carried Lt. Champagne to the medivac when he was wounded at the base camp
