OBITUARY

PRINGLE, Lorenzo "Toney" 60, of Pinellas Park, peacefully joined our Lord, Aug. 2, 2010, after a courageous battle against lung cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Patti; his children, Joshua & Aleshia, Roderick, Toney & DeDe, Pressetta; his mother Mabel; brother Eddie; & grandchildren.

When I created a personal page for Peabody, one of his notes mentioned Pringle. Leon Wozniak (Hero) says of Pringle:

Lorenzo Pringle was in fist platoon. He carried the grenade launching rifle. One time I was behind him while climbing a fairly steep hill. His launcher got caught on a branch and fired a round straight at the helmet of the grunt in front of him. Of coarse everyone scattered. Luckily the grenade didn't travel far enough to trigger. Ahh the good old days....
