Guy Rudawski wrote the following on our Facebook group page: Me and "Pee Wee" at Eagle Beach. He claimed to be an orphan. My family sent him care packages. He was planning to make the army a career. He frequently walked point. Once on stand-down, he got so drunk he was face down thrashing and clawing up the sand like he was a "gator" and we had to sedate him. Next day he was ready to go. "Drive On Brother!" |
