OBITUARY Rodney A. Graves, age 62, of Wooster Road, Mount Vernon, OH passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Mount Vernon. He was born on November 26, 1948 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late William Graves and Bernice (Dixon) Graves Keyes. Rodney served in the United States Army 101st Airborne during Vietnam. He had previously been employed with American National Can in Mount Vernon and F.T. Precision in Fredericktown. Rodney was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4027, Amvets Post #95 and Loyal Order of Moose in Mount Vernon. He is survived by his three children, Heidi Sarchet of St. Louis, Missouri, Tana Graves of New York, New York and Nicolas Graves of Mount Vernon, two brothers, William “Bill” Graves of Mount Vernon, David (Gloria) Graves of Mount Vernon and a sister, Susie (Ed) Patton of Lafayette, Indiana. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters, Shirley McPeek, Jeanette Lahrman, Anna Oswalt and Charlotte “Chotsie” Cline. |
