ROGER EUGENE GILLIAM |
| Roger Gilliam was on our "Roster Number 5" dated 5 April 1969. He deployed 11 Nov 1968. I included him on our Avenger list in lieu of the Originals. He was also on our "Lost Avengers" list because we lost contact with him. He was from Jeffersonville, IN. We're sad to learn he passed 18 May 2016. |

OBITUARY I did not find an obituary but I found this: Services for Roger Eugene Gilliam, 69, of Jeffersonville, IN, were held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Legacy Funeral Center in Jeffersonville, IN. Burial followed at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He was retired from Reynolds Aluminum and was a proud Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriner's Clubs in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Estill and Sarah Gilliam; and siblings, Evelyn Hooker, Robert Gilliam, Edna Breeding, Elaine Gilliam and Rodney Gilliam. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Faye Evanoff; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Stephanie; and his little pug, Wrinkles. |
