| OBITUARY - BURIAL Mr. Charles Kenneth Bishop, age 65, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Bishop was born in Centre, Alabama on July 22, 1949, son of the late Gibb Bishop and the late Laura Grace Smith Bishop. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and receiving a Bronze Star. Mr. Bishop was of the Baptist faith and worked for a number of years in the tire refabrication industry. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Womack Bishop; a daughter, Brandy Bishop, Rome; a son, James Womack and his wife, Brandy, Rome; five grandchildren, Kenneth Blake Bishop, Brandon Ambrose Bishop, Destany Marie Womack, Bradley James Womack, and R. J. Poole; three sisters, Doris Williams, Sandra Sanders, and Paulette Szabolcsi; several nieces and nephews. |
