Brashear arrived at Fort Campbell, KY in 1967 and was assigned to 2nd Platoon. .He went with A Company to Vietnam, December 1967. He lived in Forsyth, MO, but sadly he is no longer with us. |

OBITUARY Harold “Ray” Brashear, 68 year old resident of Colcord, Oklahoma, died August 13, 2016 at Concordia Health and Rehab in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Ray was born March 5, 1948 to Ray L. Brashear and Ida Bell Lee. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Ray worked as a fleet manager for a trucking company for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ida Bell Brashear. He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Payton of Gravette, Arkansas, and Marilyn Smith of Jefferson City, Missouri; two nephews, Todd and Eric Smith; and three nieces, Jeri, Kelly, and Samantha Payton. A memorial graveside service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, Oklahoma with Mr. David Palle and Mr. Todd Smith officiating. |
