| OBITUARY |
| Conway, SC - Dennis Lee Cooksey, 67, formally of Waldorf, Maryland,
entered into rest on Jan. 14 2018. He was born Dec. 20, 1950, in
Washington D.C., a son of the late Joseph and Pearl Cooksey. Survivors
include daughter Karie Amos (Donnie) of Myrtle Beach; grandson Dalton;
brother David Cooksey (Mirella) of Pomfret, Maryland; sister Susan
Martin (George) of Stafford, Virginia, and several nieces, nephews and
cousins. Dennis served in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division during Vietnam. He retired in 2000 from Capitol Hill where he was a U.S. Capitol Police Officer and then transferred to U.S. Senate Parking Administration Office. Services were held Jan. 22 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Burial followed at Florence National Cemetery in Florence, SC. |
