Thomas C. Welsh, Jr., 60, passed away April 4, 2012, of complications from cancer-related Agent Orange exposure. He was born in Melbourne, FL and resided in Merritt Island. He was highly decorated for his service in Vietnam with the US Army 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. Thomas C. Welsh, Jr., 60, passed away April 4, 2012, of complications from cancer-related Agent Orange exposure. He was born in Melbourne, FL and resided in Merritt Island. Tom worked in the Shuttle Program as an Operations Specialist at KSC and Vandenberg AFB from 1978-1993. He had an insatiably adventurous spirit and lived each day to the fullest.

Tom was predeceased by his father, Thomas Welsh, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Welsh; brother, John Welsh; and sister, Margie (Norman) Riggle; nephew, Jason; and by his fiancee, Karen Walsh, the love of his life for many years and devoted caregiver.
